Mid-Century Modern Kitchen & Bath Remodel

MID-CENTURY VIBES

Drab to fab is the best way to describe this remodel in a small Wedgwood home. There had been no modifications to the home’s original layout and finishes. While maintaining the mid-century feel, the kitchen was cut off from the living room, so the opening between the kitchen and living was opened up as much as possible without making significant structural modifications and impact on budget. The big design gesture in the kitchen was the horizontal grain bamboo cabinets with their linear quality nodding to the mid-century vibe. In the bath, the original tub was refinished, all the other fixtures replaced, and new surround tile installed. The biggest splurge in this bath was the have-to-have recessed medicine cabinet with the horizontal lift.

We look forward to hearing from you!
