Jackson Design Build LLC, established in Seattle in 1999 by Leif and Erik Jackson, has been a pillar in the remodeling industry for over two decades. Originally started as Jackson Remodeling LLC, the Jackson brothers brought together a wealth of experience, totaling fifty years, to create a firm known for excellence in remodeling.
In 2019, the Jacksons welcomed Josh Zautke as a partner, having been a valuable team member since 2008. In 2025, Josh became the new owner of the company, continuing the legacy of quality and service.
Today, Jackson Design Build boasts a talented team of professionals in both design and construction. JDB has earned a solid reputation for delivering top-notch results, with a focus on honesty, reliability and outstanding service. Over the years, JDB has proudly received fifteen coveted REX awards for Remodeling EXcellence, along with two NKBA Design awards.

Our team is what makes us special. Our clients usually become friends with the carpenters assigned to their project. Though they are happy when the project is done, homeowners are often sad to see "their" carpenter move on.
