In this Sunset Hill kitchen remodel, much attention and care were spent designing the layout for the client, who is a fabulous cook and baker. In order to make room for all the cabinets and appliances, a wall was removed and a flush-beam was added between the old kitchen and dining room, where the family space is now. The inset cabinets with barrel hinges were selected as a nod to the heritage of the home. And even with the richly toned base cabinets and crisp white uppers, the design gesture of this kitchen is without a doubt the sumptuous green tile backsplash.
